Bush tomato ( Nganjawarli ) There are two kinds of bush tomato; one is shaped like an egg and the other is round. They are picked when they are ripe and look pale yellow. The black seeds are scrapped out as they are very bitter. In the old days they made spoons out of wood and emu bones as a utensil especially for eating the bush tomato. The flavour is like rockmelon. Nganjawarli can roasted on skewers over the hot coals.
