Spears are made from different types of trees. There is a variety of different spears used for hunting, fighting and punishment.
The Pay back spear traditionally was made from the Mulga tree. The spear was passed through the upper thigh muscle, where the person would kneel on the ground in a small circle to receive their punishment.
Sometimes it was also used for hunting kangaroo.
